Privacy & Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 16 June 2026
magicMCP is built on a simple promise: be useful without being intrusive. This page explains, in plain language, what data the service handles and how it is funded.
What we collect
Nothing about you, personally. magicMCP does not create accounts, build user profiles, or store a history of what you search for or buy. It keeps no product catalog. The only information it holds is a list of the merchants it supports, refreshed periodically from our affiliate networks.
How a request is handled
When your assistant sends a product link to magicMCP, the connector checks whether the link's merchant is supported and, if so, returns an equivalent purchase link. The link is processed in memory to answer that single request. We do not sell, share, or retain it.
Standard server logs
Like any web service, our hosting provider may record basic technical logs (such as timestamps and error information) to keep the service running and secure. These logs are not used to identify or track individuals.
Affiliate disclosure
magicMCP is supported by affiliate commissions. When you buy through a purchase link the service returns, the merchant may pay us a small commission. This comes out of the merchant's margin — it never increases the price you pay.
- The price at checkout is the same as buying directly from the merchant.
- Commissions do not influence what your assistant recommends; suggestions are based on fit, and monetization only happens after you have chosen what to buy.
- If a merchant is not part of our affiliate networks, you simply receive the original link with no change.
This disclosure is also surfaced inside your assistant the first time you connect magicMCP, in keeping with U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidance on clear and conspicuous disclosure.
